Social Circus Tasmania works in partnership with organisations to design, develop and deliver specific circus projects that target identified needs of that organisation and their clients.
We use the diversity and excitement of circus to bring positive change to individuals, families, groups and communities. The way we present it, circus encourages personal development, strengthens relationships and builds community capacity.
Workshops are delivered in a fun, engaging, playful style, where participants are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones and try something new. The specific content of each workshop is shaped by the interests of participants, creating ownership of the process.
A safe and supportive environment is cultivated within each group, which allows for truly amazing things to happen!

EVIDENCE: CIRCUS WORKS
'Learning social circus: jumping through hoops to achieve success' is a paper which explores the outcomes of evaluations of two circus activities within the Burnie region. Both activities came from a collaboration between three non-government organisations and schools to engage vulnerable families in circus activities.
